Services 

 

  • Friday Evening Shabbat Service 6 pm (on Zoom during the pandemic). There is one Shabbat evening service each month, with a break over the summer months. 

  • Saturday Morning Shabbat Service: Congregational Shabbat Services take place at 10:00 am, only on those Saturday mornings when Bar mitzvahs or Bat mitzvahs are scheduled. 

  • Festivals: In addition to the High Holidays, services are held on the last day of the following festivals: Passover, Shavuot and Shemini Atzeret (which takes place on the second-to last day of Sukkot, the day before Simchat Torah).

  • Other special events include a Holocaust Kristallnacht service in November; a communal Passover Seder for the congregation and guests. Yizkor: Yizkor for departed family members is recited on the following days:

  • Yom Kippur

  • Passover

  • Shavuot

  • Shemini Atzeret.

Yizkor is recited on the day of Yom Kippur, on the eighth day of Passover, on the second day of Shavuot, and on Shemini Atzeret (which takes place on the second last day of Sukkot, the day before Simchat Torah).

Mourner’s Kaddish & Yahrzeit (Anniversary of the passing of a loved one): At the service on the last Friday night of every month, Kaddish is recited for all who would like to say Kaddish for their departed family member or friend.
